1-Hydroxycyclohexyl phenyl ketone (184) is a new type of highly efficient photoinitiator introduced in the 80s by Ciba-Geigy, Switzerland, with the trade name Irgacure184 and a melting point of 47-49℃. It is a highly efficient, yellowing-resistant radical (Ⅰ) type solid Chemicalbook body photoinitiator, with long storage time, high initiation efficiency, UV absorption range and other advantages, mainly with single or multifunctional group vinyl monomer and zwitterion used in unsaturated prepolymer (such as: acrylate) UV curing, especially for the high degree of yellowing requirements of coatings and inks.
