Storage conditions

Stability
1. Easily soluble in water, ethanol, liquid ammonia, acetone, pyridine and liquid sulfur dioxide. It shows an endothermic reaction when dissolved in water. It will produce blood-red iron thiocyanide when it encounters iron salts, which does not react with ferrous salts.
2. The solution is red under the action of sunlight. It forms thiourea when heated to about 140°C, and decomposes into ammonia, carbon disulfide and hydrogen sulfide at 170°C. The solubility is 64.95g/100g aqueous solution (26.33°C), 81.73g/100g aqueous solution (71.53°C).
3. When heated to 200～300℃, it will be decomposed into ammonia, carbon disulfide and hydrogen sulfide. It absorbs a lot of heat when it dissolves in water. Can be used as a chemical coolant
